We proudly partner with the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC). Each day, over 2,000 children are reported missing. NCMEC utilizes CLEAR to aid the critical work they do to protect children. Thomson Reuters continually works to support the efforts of the center. This year, in addition to product sponsorships, we participated in the Hope Awards, honoring exceptional worldwide child protection efforts.
CLEAR success story: In 2009, a child was abducted by a stranger while playing in her front yard in Texas. With a tip received through a law enforcement hotline, analysts used CLEAR to locate a residential address through a P.O. Box provider. Law enforcement officials set up surveillance on the possible location and the abductor was quickly apprehended. The missing child was found inside and reunited with her family.
The quick work of law enforcement and the address information found in CLEAR was directly responsible for rescuing this child and most likely saved her life.

We support the DEA Survivor's Benefit Fund each year by participating as a platinum sponsor for the Meredith Thompson Memorial Golf Tournament. The funds raised at the tournament are given to the families of fallen DEA agents. We fully support the mission of the DEA and honor those who have paid such a price to better our society.
